Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your data solely on the basis of the applicable legislation (GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act, TKG 2021). This notice explains which data is processed when you visit our website.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, 4020 Linz, Austria. The servers are located in Austria. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with World4You.

3. Server logs

When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data and is deleted automatically after a short period.

4. Enquiries via the website and by email

If you contact us via the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, country, travel dates, number of guests and children's ages, room and meal preferences, message) to answer your enquiry and prepare a booking or reservation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The enquiry is stored on our web server and forwarded to us by email. You receive an automatic confirmation at the email address you provide.

Retention: Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 6 months. If a booking is made, we keep the necessary data for as long as statutory retention obligations require (in particular 7 years under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics and do not track visitor behaviour.

Strictly necessary: After you submit an enquiry we set a session cookie so the thank-you page can show your details. It is deleted when you close your browser.
Your settings: Your choice in the cookie notice and your light/dark display preference are stored only in your browser (local storage) and are not sent to us.

The legal basis is § 165(3) TKG 2021 and our legitimate interest in a working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

6. Google Maps

We do not embed any Google Maps maps. The "Plan route" button merely links to Google Maps. Only when you click it are you redirected to Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), where Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy

7. Instagram

Our website merely links to our Instagram account; no Instagram content is embedded. Visiting the website therefore does not transmit any data to Instagram. Only when you click the Instagram link are you redirected to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland); Meta's privacy policy then applies.

8. Fonts

All fonts are loaded from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other provider.

9. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption, indicated by the padlock icon and "https://" in the address bar.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Simply contact otten@speed.at.
